Society Today Podcast, Episode 1 (Kristian Karlson)

Kristian Bernt Karlson is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research centers on inequalities in education, social mobility, and statistical methods. He has published widely on these topics, including in some of the leading journals in the field. Karlson got his Ph.D. in 2013 and was appointed tenure in 2016. During his Ph.D., he was a visiting Fulbright fellow at Yale University. He is also the winner of significant early career awards from the American Sociological Association and the European Academy of Sociology.
